ABOUT EVENT
Verse and Vibe is a Slam Poetry competition. It is a spoken word competition
where participants perform their original poems with emotion, rhythm, and powerful
delivery. The event celebrates the art of expression through words and performance.

RULES
1. Event type: Solo event
2. Original Work: Each poem must be of the poet's own creation.
3. Topic Assignment: Participants are required to provide an essay or poem on
the topic assigned. Topics will be assigned by the judge on the spot.
4. Performance Rules: The poet may not use:
• Props
• Costumes
• Pre-recorded/taped music or musical instruments during the
performance.
5. Content Restrictions: The poem may not include any sexist, racist,
homophobic, or transphobic comments.
