ABOUT EVENT
Block & Tackle is a dynamic solo debate, participants must argue both for and
against their assigned topic, switching perspectives upon the judges’ prompt. Quick
thinking, logical flow, and adaptability are key to delivering a compelling argument.
The most creative and well-structured debater will emerge victorious!

RULES
1. Event Type: Solo debate
2. Format: Participants must speak both for and against the assigned topic
3. Switching Prompt: Judges will prompt when to switch between speaking
"for" and "against" the topic
4. Content Requirement: Points should be logical and fluid
5. Topic Assignment: Topics will be assigned on the spot by the judge
6. Language: Vernacular language is allowed
7. Code of Conduct: Any form of vulgarity will result in immediate
disqualification
